i have lived here since the place opened, and i have seen alot of changes from the start. now i wont tell you that all has been perfect here, but there are more pluses than minuses. when they first opened up i had problems with security, my truck was broken into 3 times, but shortly after they started having a night security officer. they arent the cops but they have very nice. as for the thin walls' the only nioses i have heard are from my neighbor below me, and that is only the bass from their stereo, and i always retaliate. and since i live across from the crosswalk i always get to hear the drunks coming home at night. but, these are the only problems that i have had since i have lived here. the noise issue' when you live downtown expect to hear downtown noises, i.e. the firestation, cars, etc. i have loved living here since i first moved in, the management staff is excellent, and maintaince is superb. anytime i had a problem they responded within a couple of hours if not minutes. ive rented from slumlords before and these people are not like that. there are always parties for the residents. i have a poolview apt and i love it. maybe the reason that this place recieves so many negative responces is because the people who are writing them are trying to have unreal expectations of a downtown apt community. today i found out that i wont be able ot renew my lease and this saddens me greatly. i was planing on staying here until i bought a house. this place has exceeded all of my expectations, and i will truely miss living here. and for all those people who complain about this place' you gotta realize that when you live in a downtown apt your gonna hear lots of noise. to the management staff, i will miss you girls, you have always been there to help me with anything i have ever needed.
