I've live in the Metro West area for over 6 years and almost 3 years in Madison. I've never had any serious problems over here. I've read about various drug related crimes around the area but have never felt un-safe or been affected myself.

As for Madison, I have some good neighbors and love the facilities and going for a walk along the golf course before sunset. The only irritation used to be the guy living upstairs who had woken us up on some occasions, but since a new couple moved in there, we haven't had any problems. The HOA could perhaps do a better job to get some of the outside broken screens fixed, but overall the common grounds look nice.

I'll probably stay at Madison until I can afford one of the few available houses in Metro West.
