Just a scant 2 years ago Metrowest was a decent place to live, but within the last 8 months, there have been several rapes, murders, robberies, car jackings, etc.

Marina Landing does seem to be the HUB for criminal activity, but Sabal Palms just down the street also had a murder occur back at christmas time when a man was murdered right outside of his apartment, while his wife and 2 kids watched in horror from inside the apartment.

Metrowest is largely going condo, but they are having difficulty pushing the units in the area due to the high crime and the real estate slump that Florida seems to have hit. Some of the complexes are even back to renting out apartments again.

Stay away from Marina Landing, The Azur (condominiums) Sabal Palms at Metrowest and all of the other complexes located in the 32835 area code. It's bad news.
