First off, it's expensive. You know, more expensive to live upstairs and nothing is included in the base price. The water bill is communal for each building, so hope your neighbors aren't water hogs. On multiple occasions I have found the pool to be very dirty and not appealing at all (although it does look nice when it is clean). The maintenance crews used to leave us notices if they had come to fix stuff, but now they just leave notes, if anything at all. We have had to call them repeatedly about problems (and never received the free rent they promised for *not* fixing stuff in a timely manner). They do seem to respond much faster if you e-mail them through Equity Apartments (probably because it's a documented problem through the parent company). And parking is... less than stellar. Often, you will have to walk much farther than anticipated because parking near your building has already filled up. (The exception to this is if you live near the car wash or the main entrance to the complex.) The paint is so thick on the walls it flakes. If they are doing a touchup, move everything away from there, as they tend to fling paint. The master shower is weird, and cramps in weird places.

That said... the grounds look nice for the most part (we have a view of the pond). I like the pool, and the location (feels secluded). It's relatively quiet, and I've never had a problem about big college parties in my building. I like the windows, though I wish someone would clean the outside of them, and lots of the screens have holes. The AC works, the bathrooms are nice (the tub gets dirty easily, but doesn't clean easily) but there is no fan in the second bedroom (you have to supply it) and they do allow animals.

Would I recommend it' No, not really. But Im here and too lazy to move.
