This apartment complex is not only extremely over priced but also very unsafe to live in. I was robbed here in broad daylight while I was at work recently. My nieghbor, who was also robbed, found a man crawling out of his window when he came home from work. An apartment located next to the office has recently been busted for having a cocaine and majiuana lab throughout their entire apartment. For the ridiculous price I pay to live here (about 925.00 a month for a one-bed), I should not feel so unsafe and scared. Not to mention the high pet fees and very high rate raises for existing residents each year (my rent was raised another $160.00 a month this year even though I had always paid my rent on time and had been here a few years). With all of the horrible things that happen within Mission Bay Apartments, you would think that the management would at least send out notices warning the residents of the recent events...but not one notice has been sent out. I would never have moved here if I had known how awful it is. I can't wait to move out and move on with my life. I do feel badly about being so negative about Mission Bay because the office staff seems very nice. I wrote this to help others like myself who are looking for safe, quality apartments...don't take a chance on Mission Bay Apartments.

which building was the cocain thing in? cause my neighbor told me that it is the apartment i just moved into less than 2 months ago.. and yes that scares me that the office didnt tell me cause what if he messed someone over and they come after him thinking he/she still lives here.. my life could be in danger.. do you know if it was building 3371? just for another confirmation..

A very large percentage of the apartments are "section 8" housing, which is subsidized housing for disabled, etc. What that frequently means is that single mothers are living there for next to nothing and letting their loser baby-daddies mooch off of them for free. And most of those guys have bad criminal records.
