My ex roommate and I moved out at the first of the year. We are just now being informed that we are being charged ONE THOUSAND dollars above and beyond our security deposits to replace the carpeting. Were we notified directly by these people for payment' No..instead of calling us they IMMEDIATELY turned us over to a collection agency! I received a letter from this agency last night and this was the first time that I heard we owed money for the carpeting. There was no notification whatsoever from the apartments first! And now as a result of being turned over to an agency there will be a blemish on my clean credit record. Stay as far away from these crooks as you can!
