First month in the complex they stopped accepting packages at the office (at most complexes this is an ammenity) Laundry machines never work---one has been down for at least 6 months. No problems with roaches..lots of noise from other apartments and WHEN I have a neigbor living next store (no one stays long) I can always smell what they are cooking. They wouldn't prorate me a week past my lease in order to make my move easier. Which is no big deal it seems that my new complex wants the money and is willing to accomadat me. Only one size apartment and the bedroom has a hard time accomadating a queen size bed. They are doing a great job with the remodel, however, it doesn't matter when there are so many drug dealers leasing here. Police Helicopters are also fun. I can't count the number of times I have waken up in the middle of the night with lights shinning through my window. No insulation in the walls. I can hear the maintenance staff cleaning up the apartment next door---mainly one of the guys who works here--screaming while I am trying to sleep (he never talks quietly) When I moved in they never cleaned the apartment and I had flea issues. The walls are mostly patches of wall plaster so bring plenty of pictures. Landscaping--only near the pool and office and usually only when they are shooting a new picture for apartment guide or something. I have had a 5 gallon bucket under the sink in the kitchen since I moved in because when the guys came to fix the leak they thought it was a pin sized leak and used some JB weld to fix it. It's actually a loose fitting at the garbage disposal. No assigned parking and the parking is for almost all buildings at the back so you have to carry groceries around. Oh yeah if you don't want to sign a year lease (and I would suggest not signing one) the rent goes up. However Office staff is very nice they are just limied in solving problems due to the company they work for.
