They changed the name but the reputation is the same...

I lived in Oakwood Commons for three years, in one of the 2 floor townhouses while I was in College. The rent was cheap but there were a couple of times I was seriously afraid.
I must have called 911 a dozen times. Like the time I called 911 to report gunshots at a party down the street, and panicked partygoers running everywhere. Or the time I called 911 because two teen gangs were bashing each other's riced-up cars in the parking lots. Or the time I called 911 because some woman got mauled by a pit bull in front of my house.. two men had to beat the dog with a stop sign they found lying on the ground. Yes, it is the type of place where stop signs lie on the ground. Or the time I called 911 because I heard someone light a car on fire right in front of my apartment. Or the time I called 911 because someone broke into my truck. Or the time someone broke into my roommate's truck. Or the time some kids burned down their apartment with mom's lighter. Police helicopters are a familiar sight.
Some of the buildings have been deemed unsafe by the city! Have they fixed them yet' They sure were an eyesore when we left.
Hey.. check the pools! Lawn chairs in the pools. Hilarious.
The fence has holes because of people fleeing from the cops.
The cops love the place. But they have bulletproof vests.
