I WAS ON THE SECOND FLOOR THE BATHROOM LEAKED THROUGH THE EXHAUST FAN AND GOT SO FULL OF WATER THE CEILING FELL INTO THE TUB ON ME AND WHEN YOU LOOK UP THERE WERE THOUSANDS OF TERMITES AND FULL OF MOLD AND WATER AND WE KNEW WE HAD BEEN GETTING SICK AND JUST DIDN'T REALIZE THE MOLD WAS WHY. THEY WOULD NOT LET US STAY IN AN EMPTY APARTMENT ACROSS THE HALL WHERE OUR NEIGHBOR HAD JUST MOVED OUT AND WE HAD TO STAY AT MY BOYFRIENDS MOTHERS HOUSE UNTIL THEY GOT OUR CEILING FIXED. WE CALLED THE FIRE MARSHALL AND AN ATTORNEY AND NOTHING WAS DONE. THEY WOULD NOT WORK WITH US IN ANY WAY AND THEN HAD THE NERVE TO NOT WANT TO GIVE US OUR DEPOSIT BACK. HOW WRONG IS THAT' THIS WAS IN 1998 BUT IM SURE THEY ARE STILL A TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. AND RENT THEN WAS 420 A MO ON A 1B/1BA 580 SQ FT AND THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD PAY THAT MUCH TO LIVE SOMEWHERE LIKE THAT AT THE RATES THEY HAVE NOW ITS INSANE AND THERE WERE COPS THERE AND SEARCH HELECOPTERS THERE EVERY OTHER NIGHT IT SEEMED LIKE SPOTLIGHTING US AT 5 AM AND IT WAS NOT A SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD ANYWAY. THE BEST THING THEY CAN DO IS BURN TO THE (*^$&$ GROUND!

Wow Posting a rating from when you lived here 8 years ago. You haven't been around much have you? With the new management in the office things have really taken a turn for the better. We are now living on a A property and still paying C- prices. I think if it took you 8 years to post your comment you should have just kept it to yourself.3 Lovin Oakwood

I think it is much nicer than before..the whole neighborhood is getting better and it is affordable.

my daughter just went through the same horrible experience,she had to move because of health reasons they kept her deposits and charged her a moving fee, please write back and maybe we can all do something,between the roaches and mold and mildew she lost most of her belongings, horrible experience
