First of all i have to say that i used to live here a few years ago. I hated that I had to leave because my apartment was huge and I liked the fact that it had tiles. Well i moved back in march 2008 and i have to say the renovated apartments are gorgeous. The granite countertops and stainless steel appliances are a plus but what i like the most is the deep kitchen sink. i have noticed that the grounds are alot cleaner then they used to be and now they have these huge lights that light up the parking lot which is great b/c it used to be so dark.

I think that anyone who haven't seen this property recently should go by and see it. It is much improved. To the person that responded to this review so negatively about seeing drug dealers, what did you do when you saw them? Did you call the police so they could make any arrest? Good communities become good communities by the active participation of everyone to make them better. I think that anyone who has paid attention to the past few months would agree that Oakwood Commons has improve and is continuing to improve even more!

It's so obvious that the management is posting these reviews..this place is a DUMP. Dont move here unless you love sleeping with the roaches and sniffing all of the mold growing in the walls all day. If I left a plate down for more than 5 minutes while I went to answer the phone I would come back and roaches would be all over it...very very gross place to live..will NEVER EVER come back to this filth
