The complex is very deceiving. It may look like a nice place to live but the management is worthless. The office staff is not helpful with anything unless it benefits them. People are being asked to leave the complex and there apartments of many years due to construction. The leasing office has done nothing to assist in vacating. They are offering a month free. Like this will help with anything. Once you add up the cost of moving, new deposits, new fees, transferring utilities, etc you are looking at well over $1200. Plus you most likely have to pay a higher rate somewhere else. Below is a copy of the letter that was left on tenants doors giving them 30-90 days notice. This letter was not signed and it was just left in the cracks of the doors. This will show you how on caring and disorganized this complex is.

Re: Extreme Makeover-Exterior Reconstruction

On________________we will begin major construction on your building, including window and exterior finish replacement. In previous correspondence we planned on you temporarily vacating your apartment and living in a furnished guest suite. However, the time frame for completion has been extended and amount of construction to the building has increased to the point we are asking you to make necessary plans to move from your apartment permanently. Unfortunately, due to the lack of availability of non-hurricane affected units we are not able to offer you another apartment on site. The magnitude of the renovation is much larger than originally anticipated therefore it will be in your best interest to plan on vacating your apartment no later than ____________. It is imperative you immediately make the necessary steps for vacating as soon as possible. Renovation of the building may continue up to six months for completion. Therefore if you would like to revisit the community at a later date we would be more than glad to discuss future occupancy at that time.

We would like to take this time to thank you in advance for your understanding, patience and cooperation. We look forward to speaking with you soon concerning this matter and completing the necessary paperwork for vacating.
