I've lived in Osprey Links for almost 3 years now. I'm moving out in June thank goodness. Since I've lived there I've had to move 2 times because of hurricane repairs. We had to move out of our first apartment after the second hurricane last year due to water damange which was understandable. Instead of just continuing the remainder on our lease we had to sign a new one. We were told that there would be "minor" repairs to the buildings, so we went ahead and signed for an entire year. About 5 months later we got a notice saying that we were going to have to vacate due to construction, and if we wanted to move somewhere else in Hunter's Creek they would offer us a concession, but if we stayed in Osprey Links that there would be none (which leads me to agree with one of the previous comments about their lack of business sense). We didn't have the money to move into an entirely new place so we had to really fight to get a concession to move AGAIN. The management wouldn't give us anything exept a free carpet cleaning (big freakin' deal) until we started to ask for the owner of the apartments name, and started to talk to the Orlando Housing Authority. Finally we were given a month for free which barely covered our hookup fees and uhaul rental for 3 people to move. I felt mislead and lied to so that they could get us to sign for a year lease. The second time we had to move we told them that if we were going to have to move again we'd move some where else right then. Thats when management told us the reparis would be minor and non disruptive. They are uncaring and I can't wait to leave. Yadira is great, but she is one of the few left from old management I think.
