I've been warning as many incoming freshman as I can about living in this place. We had an armed robbery a few buildings down from my apartment and I didn't hear anything about it until I read about it in the newspaper! I even asked an R.A. about all the commotion that happened that night and she knew nothing. It's actually the 2nd robbery that has occurred in the past few months. I never feel safe here.

My roommates throw parties and do stupid crap in my apartment so I feel like I have to leave whenever they do just so I can say that I had nothing to do with it. My girlfriend's roommate is literally psychotic. (We can hear her through the walls whenever she's yelling about killing her mother or giving in to her bulimia. She also steals food.) It just goes to show how well they screen their incoming residents.

If you have a problem with anything important, good luck getting it resolved. Whenever I go down to the clubhouse with a question, the R.A. working at the desk always looks at me blankly, says "I don't know," and I want to slap them in the face.

Parking is a major issue by my building. If I come back after 6:00 pm for some reason, usually I have to park in a completely different area.

When they give the tour of the complex, they only show phase 3, the one that they maintain and keep looking nice. As for the rest of the complex, they let it go to hell simply because they don't care. Recently they painted the deck of the phase 3 pool but I doubt that phase 1 or 2 will ever have the same treatment.

The gyms are another story. They boast about how they have 3 gyms in the complex but when 1 of them is just an open room with nothing in it, HOW IS THAT A GYM''' The other 2 gyms are filled with a lot of broken equipment that is never maintained and fairly unsafe. They actually do have freeweights in one of the gyms but they are all 45 lbs and up which is nice if your first name is Arnold.

I will say that the maintenance guys are all really cool and as professional as they can be. Sometimes they don't fix something 100% but it's better than nothing. The shuttles are also pretty good.

If you want my honest opinion about moving in, I would tell you to throw excrement in your leasing agent's face for lying to you about this place. They have screwed everybody I know at some point or another. I never feel safe here whether it's inside or outside of my apartment. Do not live here for any reason. Setting your money on fire is a better way to spend it.
