When you decide to lease here you better beware. On my FIRST night here my roommate's toilet overflowed and they refused to call emergency maintenance. Her toilet(with pee and crap that had been backed up in there for God knows how long) had spread so heavily that it had seeped into MY room too! The plumber finally showed up at almost 3am, but the smell was absolutely horrible!
Pegasus Landing also doesn't give a crap about the complaints that people put in. We have the loudest upstairs neighbors in the world! It seriously always sounds like they're banging furniture against the floor day after day. We have posted at least 6 formal complaints and yet the noise still persists. But let's be 100% honest here: the RAs in the buildings are never helpful! When you ask them to put in a work order, or have a real complaint or problem they never help you, and act like they don't care(which I doubt they do), even though its their job to do so.
If that weren't bad enough, Pegasus Landing thinks it's cute to put people with roommates from HELL. What am I talking about here' WELL let's see...one of my roommates was a CONVICTED FELON and had even spent a month jail PRIOR to moving in. She smoked weed in our apartment after I asked her not to bring it there at all and always had her loud, disrespectful friend over all night. Well all that was until another warrant went out for her arrest(underage drinking at a football game while on probation). Before she left she gave her keys to her friend and the friend wouldn't give them back. When we reported her and asked for a lock change, they charged us $70 for it! They also never evicted her for not being a student and so now her mother calls us and harasses us for changing the locks.
The other roommate, although not a felon, is just as terrible. She treated me and the only good roommate like crap. She ate our food, never paid for anything and was just plain rude to us. I can't tell you how many times we all got together and tried to straighted everything out with her and every single time her response was "I'm straight." Well when she took a break barricading herself in her room all she could do was yell at us about us not letting her eat our food and use our kitchen items. Our response was that we had asked her to pitch in and straighten everything out, but she would never listen. How do you come to college with that kind of mentality....or with that kind of record, as the case may be.
Well that was only my first semester here! My lease still doesn't end until August...It's January now. Great. Well who knows what "fun" surprises are going to come up this semester...

*That was written in January of this year. It is now November and after moving out in August, I can tell you the rest of the story...
Well since January, it had been only me, my good roomie and "the other one," as she is now known as. You would think that with only three people left, things might get easier, right' WRONG! The Other One(T.O.O.)decided that she wanted to make peace with me and the good roommate(Kat was her name). When she came back from break, she apologized and things got better...for like five minutes. She clearly didn't mean the apology and after a couple weeks, her true colors came out again. It got to the point where T.O.O. and Kat got into a HUGE fight one night. I could hear them yelling from outside. It got so intense that T.O.O. almost punched Kat in the face. When they called the R.A.s (who lived next door) it took them forever to get there. After they tried literally for hours to get the two of them to settle their differences, they decided to move Kat out of the apartment because TOO refused to move. Kat had been there for two years. This was just days before I moved out for good when my lease was up. I cannot tell you the overwhelming joy I felt when my time in HELL had ended. I URGE you to JUST SAY NO!!!!! Seriously, if you have a lease, try and get out of it fast!!
