My biggest complaint has to be the trash. There is trash everywhere, in the breezeways, the parking lots, the lawns, in the pools, etc.

Next would be the random people you can get stuck with. With one exception, all of my roommates (5 of 6) have been massive stoners or had drinking problems. People come here because management does not punish drug issues.

The lack of soundproofing or any sound dampening in the walls is another issue. I can hear everything that is said in my apartment. Stereos, roommate and his girlfriend getting intimate, coughing toilet flushing, footsteps... the list goes on.

Next, the Staff. They do Not care. Plain and simple. I was lied to when I inquired about 9 month leases and so I got stuck in a 12 month lease.

The older buildings are pretty rundown. They have been around 10 years and show every year of it. The hall lights are burnt out, paint on the doors is peeling. The toilets clog at the drop of a hat. The vent fans in the bathrooms are noisy and do nothing, which contributes to the wicked tile mold.

There are three pools and three "fitness centers" advertised. There are in fact three pools, but are frequently dirty with leaves and soil. No skimmer nets to be found. The fitness centers are basically a breeding ground for tetanus. Most of the equipment is broken and unusable. The rest is on the verge of breaking. I'm talking about broken cables, rust, and missing parts.

Moving on... The appliances are old. Very old. This being said, they are not reliable. The paint inside my microwave is peeling off, so I cover my food. Our dryer has been a carnivale of fun. The timer has been broken since I have moved in. There was a period of about a month where it did not work. Took three work-orders to get it repaired.

Maintenance is pretty bad. Slow to respond. Any damages in the apartment are rediculously overpriced when you foot the bill. They charged me and one of my roommates $60 for two broken slats on vertical blinds. The type that are designed to have parts replaced.

Security, wow. None. Nine apartments where broken into over Thanksgiving break. However, only six were robbed during Christmas break. Take that as you will. At some point in the past, somebody was shot and killed here. I believe it was about 3 years ago.

So, in summary: dirty, old broken, no security, and just plain bad.
Do not live here folks, its just not wise.
