Ok, so I have been reading all these negative reviews and I have to say I disagree. I just moved out of Pegasus Landing because I graduated and I have to say the 3 years I lived there I really enjoyed my experience. Everyone keeps saying there is so much crime, well there is no more crime here than anywhere else on Alafaya. That is the world we live in and it is up to us to take more percautions and protect our selves and our belongings. One of the best things Landing offers is you can call up to the office any time day or night and have someone meet you to walk you to your apartment if you would like, I have yet to come accross that perk anywhere else. I thought the staff was always nice and helpful, and thought it was neat that they had events for residents and different things to do. It was a great way for me to meet people since I moved here from out of state. I really enjoyed my college experience and the Pegasus Landing community. Nobody is perfect but I have nothing but good things to say about the property.

I wish people affiliated with Pegasus (owners/employees) would stop giving bogus reviews, seriously cut it out, these self-promotions really are obvious.
As for the crime, yes there is crime. Every vacation, there are break ins. Thanksgiving had 9 break ins, Christmas had 6.
My dryer started emitting smoke at one point and the staff told me that it was not an emergency and that it could wait until the next day, but if the AC had broken, they would have had maintenance out within the hour!

Three suspects were involved. Two black males wore ski mask and one Hispanic male was without a mask. Two weapons were seen. Suspects fled in an unknown direction. Students living in the University community are reminded when answering the door, ask who it is, use the peephole prior to answering the door. Students are also reminded to lock their doors at all times, day or night. Anyone with information is encouraged to call crimeline at 407-423-TIPS."
