"HOMG HORRIBLE" ...''' What are these people talking about'

I lived at Pegasus Landing my first year and I resigned a lease for this next year, and I'm looking forward to it. My apartment didn't have bugs, the shuttles usually run just fine (like with a bus get there early and you'll be fine). There were a few crimes committed on the premises, but you're in a community with 2,000 other people at least. Expect some crime. I didn't hear about many car break ins, and they have a bulletin that sends you an email when a crime has occured so you are alerted. I do remember 2 robberies but they were done by the same person back to back. It didn't happen all the time. There ARE people that target college communities, and there were thefts on campus too so it's not soley in Landing.
The overage charges suck because they come so late, but I remember having one large one at the beginning of the year and then only six dollar overages for the rest of the months, but my roomates had computers and TV's on so I credit it to that. I asked about why it comes so late and it's because the electric company bills the company that owns collegepark, then collegepark bills Pegasus Landing, and then Pegasus landing is able to distribute the bills out. The staff really is as helpful as they can be. Each room has it's own bathroom; that's really nice. Maintanance comes in once every three or four months to check up on the state of the apartments but they give you notice that they're going to be walking around the apartments. Our ac broke and they came and fixed it the next day. Smaller requests might take a few days, but that's because they try to fix all the big things before hte little (as anyone would do). Nobody ever seems to go to the events that Pegasus Landing hosts, so when you DO go to them they let you take home boxes of pizza, sodas, and anything else left over. The grounds are kept clean, they pick up trash each morning outside your door. I lived in the oldest Phase too. Phase 3 is the newest and supposed to be nice but if you and your roomates give a damn it's not a bad place to live. Have a bit of common sense about you and you'll be fine. This is really getting a horrible reputation when it doesn't deserve it.
