To the post "I used to work at P landing": Actually, I filled out ALL of my paperwork including my roommate matching form and I did not lie on it. I put on the form that I was bothered by smokers and they put us in an apartment with a smoker! Now, I know that out of ALL the randoms there were girls who did not smoke they could have put us with. Also, I put clean on my paper, and she is very messy and has never cleaned up after herself and still to this day (6 months later) after we have all tried encouraging her to pick up, she leaves all her ---- around for us to clean up, and only once has she helped clean the apartment. Roommate matching I would rate a 2 out of 5.

Also, our apartment was burglarized and over $7,000 worth of electronics were stolen and Pegasus landing did literally NOTHING to help. No one would do anything and it always had to go to "someone higher" and no one had authority to do anything apparently. This place was a hell hole from day one. My roommates and I moved in and it didn't even look like they had cleaned the apartment from the last residents. My parents and I had to go in and clean it ourselves (mold, grease, the whole bit). I have lived in apartments almost my whole life and have never come across this kind of service. From the beginning my roommates and I had to put in several maintenance requests and it takes them a week or more to come do it even after several calls. If you want something done, you have to call everyday multiple times and tell them its unacceptable for something to go for so long. Also, NONE of the apartments look like the model so beware. When we moved in our carpet was dark brown with lots of stains. Also, our furniture was the oldest they have. Literally, our couches were pale worn couches with the cushions being molded to people sitting, there were bars that would stick you in the back if you sat too hard and it took them two months to give us new furniture.
One good thing, you have a pool, washer/dryer in unit, and a computer lab that is open until 12am... however you can find these at most other complexes. Do yourself a favor and STEER CLEAR OF PEGASUS LANDING!!!

Good thing you were honest on your roomate profile. Did you ever consider that maybe your smoking roommate wasn't? Just remember that that management can only work with what they have. Did you have renter's insurance on the things that were stolen? I know it's recommended and actually in the lease that you should have it (That's why I got mine). Did P.Landing steal your stuff? Prolly not, so what makes you think they should have to pay for it? I work in apartment complexes (conventional not student) and I don't know of any complexes that would pay for your stolen items. Again, that's what insurance is for. There are 3 pools and computer labs at P.Landing and 1 of them is open 24 hours. Just correcting the inaccuracies of your review because I think it's funny, but ignorance is bliss, right?

Actually when I found out about this I went to the office and asked them what happened. They then went and got her roommate form and she didn't lie on it. She DID put that she smokes and that she was messy so it was an error on their part. Second, no, I did not expect Pegasus Landing to PAY for my stuff nor did I say that I expected them to in my review. I do have renters insurance, and thankfully it is getting replaced, what I am talking about is the fact they were not even willing to pay for the locks to be changed after the burglary (they still charged us $150) or to allow us to see any of the film footage saying that "it will not help" and whenever we had a question about how to go about something so we could do it in such a way that it would not go against our lease, we would always be pushed to someone else (sometimes multiple people) before we got someone who knew how to answer it. This is not the first time Pegasus landing has been robbed at and they still say there is really nothing they can do. Also, yes there is security and it is nice that they ride their bikes around, but honestly they let anyone into the complex. So if someone wants in to rob you, they won??????t really have a problem getting in. Third, this review was more about the quality of this apartment complex. You will not find that here, there are MANY other complexes that provide more amenities, and a higher quality of living. I am just stating my experience here and I am not ignorant. I have lived in many apartments since I can remember and know how the move in process goes, about the leases (I still have a full copy of my lease from P landing) and the quality here is the worst. Some apartments are better than others, mine was far from what the model looked like. Sorry that in my review I made a mistake that one of the labs is open 24 hours and there are 3 pools. But to be honest, I think the 3 pools could be one of the least important aspects of this complex when people are deciding where to live. Quality over quantity.
