It's amazing how people only look at the bad sometimes. I too have had expereices here with the staff, but mostly they have been very helpful. During the hurricane my apartment got moldy and they (after talking about it with them) were nice enough to move me into another one because they knew they couldn't fix the mold right away. It would take a while. I called my apartment insurance and they helped with the move. I am definately renewing my lease. Sometimes you can hear your neighbors phone ring and things like that, but overall its' really quite here. At least in my building.

I even practice my instrument and my neighbors say they don't hear me. I've asked. Everyone's really friendly. The head manager is kinda iffy, but maybe she's that way to everyone, not sure. But the other's office staff are great, and maintance is wonderful. They comes over to fix things right away and they're very friendly. :) Definately a plus. Don't worry about parking, true, there are limited spots at night, but it's not THAT far if you park in the middle. I've done it. But assigned spots would help.

Also, the gate does keep breaking, but to be honest, gates really don't keep criminals away. It's Orlando, you WILL have problems wherever you go. I've heard worse stories in other places, and the reasons we had problems was beacuse a few punk kids who lived here decided to try and burglarize people, and they are now gone and we haven't had a single problem. This happens where ever you go.
