I`ve lived at Pine Harbour for almost a year and from the first day have had nothing but problems. On our move-in day, when we got the keys the apartment, it had not been cleaned and ready for our arrival. When we filled out our move-in checklist it was full, No room for even a period! After the office took ONE day off of our months rent we were on our way to move in. On the wall infront of the AC unit you could see that there had been water damage and warping of the drywall also in the closet behind the unit you could see where the wall had been cut to do repairs, water marks were on the baseboards and on the walls. The apartment had a funny, musty, moldy smell to it but i thought maybe it was because it had been left closed up, but the previous owners had just moved out... So we moved into our apartment anyway. While we were cleaning i lifed the toilet tank lid and BLACK FOAMY MOLD was in the tank.....then i looked in the med. chest and yet again more mold growing in the wall, Also finding yellow/orange and black mold growing in the AC unit. When i brought this issue to the office i got " well you do know you live in florida, mold grows." Hummmm... I`ve lived in florida most of my life and cant say i`ve ever seen it grow like that. They sent out a MOLD EXPERT and he said that there is no kind of mold in our apartment ( pretty much sayin i`m makin it up) I really wish i could show the pictures of our AC units drip tray Right now!!! Since the day we moved into our apartment i`ve been sick atleast once a month (ALLERGIC TO MOLD)For a place that in the lease has a mold clause, they sure dont follow their own rules. My Stove hasnt worked since about 2 weeks after we moved in and after asking to get it fixed 3 times i`ve given up. Our Ac has been another HEADACHE. A few months ago our AC unit clogged and leaked all over our floor in our bedroom and spilled into the living room and doorway. After having them comeout and tear up our walls, finding CHUNKS OF MOLD in the walls behind the AC, it was apparent that the ac had a problem before and this was nothing new. Yet again after taking trips to the office i got " well we are a 15 yr old properity we will have problems and mold will grow!" I really felt like i was being talked to like a 2year old. I have no intentions of renewing my lease here and cant wait till i can get out of here. I really hope ( although unfortunate for me ) that they have cleaned up their act and this will not happen to any other future residents. Oh yes and to add to everyone else`s comments.
PARKING= Anytime after 6pm is almost out of the question. When the residents are forced to park in the GUEST parking far from their our apartment because of the guests parking where ever they want it`s a bit out of hand.
And the gate!!! They make us pay $50 a person to get the gate cards, But for 4-5 of my 8 month stay we havent needed to use it because they are broken! And the funny part is when we move out we only get $25 back (of-course i guess it`s better than nothing) I just think it`s crazy to have our money that it supposedly there to help maintain the gate but have it not work and let anyone in at any given time. How safe and secure is that''

if you're not happy with an equity apartment, you are allowed to move during your lease to another equity apartment. i would definitly recommend it.
