We've lived here for over 4 years. The first couple of years were fine but the last year or so things have declined. There have been numerous car burglaries and several home burglaries which the management staff refuses to acknowledge. We witnessed one car burglary and called the police and twice we witnessed suspicious young guys dressed all in black which we again called the police and learned that the police had been looking for the same guys because of a couple of home burglaries in this complex. Little Lake Bryan is right behind us and on a number of occassions we have heard gun shots behind us and in the complex. This management staff is of no help, it seems that they want to cover up the crime in the complex because they are trying to sell these apartments as Condos. The management staff are not competent in managing the office and when you have a question they don't ever seem to know the answer, they have also on one occassion lost rent checks then charged the residents late fees! This use to be a really nice complex and you could feel safe living here but it sadly is becoming alot like the less expensive communities with the crime and type of residents they are letting move in. The only good thing we have to say is that the maintenance staff is pretty good, there is one fellow who is really nice and efficient but the supervisor of maintenance is not really helpful. We've had a mold problem which the management staff sent the maintenance staff out but they only half fixed it, there is still mold and wood damage to the floor. When we renewed our lease last year the new manager refused to refurbish anything she wouldn't even replace our blinds (which had become very yellow from age and the sun) or front entrance floor vinyl. The cost of the apartment is too high for what you get. We would suggest that someone look some where else where the rent is less and the crime is not so high.
