Overpriced (goes up $100.00 evey year) and the grounds are lacking landscaping needs. Staff is extremely mindless & redneck and I bet you will find a few of America's Most Wanted living here.I consider this to be the bad side of the tracks in Ballantyne...Will not renew my lease this year.

Hi. Sometimes I wish people would post with at least a yahoo e-mail account or something so you could ask them more questions. :) I do agree with some of what you said, don't really know about the redneck thing, but have you looked around at any other apartments in the Orlando area? Have you seen or heard of any apartment complex being better when it comes to parking, crime, noise, landscaping?? I have to admit I lived at Plantation Park in 2002 and from what I've heard things have changed all over Orlando since then. I loved my time there. I did have problems with a flea infestation, some toilet problems and someone's dishwasher busted above me and came through my ceiling. Fortunately, I was there and just put a big pot underneath and they immediately came over and fixed it. Other than that, I always felt safe, never heard any neighbors in other apartments. MAJOR PLUS. But, then again, I might just have been very lucky. I only left due to a temporary financial problem. Been wanting to go back since a few weeks after I left. That's been 5 years ago. Still might come back. heh Again, I am not knocking anything you said. Matter of fact, I don't think you will even read this. I've noticed most people don't look to see if they have comments to their comments. But, it appears that every apartment complex in Orlando has some if not many unsavory residents and I don't know where you can go to find anything much better. I want to move back from SoFlo and I am so depressed at reading how bad things are in ALL the apartment complexes. I guess it really is too dangerous to move back to Orlando. Makes me very angry. grrrr

The person who wrote the review, wrote it for the WRONG apt complex. There is a Plantation Park in Ballantyne, but thats in NORTH CAROLINA. This is for the apartment in Orlando Florida. BIG DIFFERENCE. I read the review and didnt understand about the wrong side of the tracks in Ballantyne, but I guess its because Ive never been to Ballantyne, North Carolina. It helps to know what you are writing a review about before you write it. I guess the address stating the complex was in Orlando wasnt enough of a hint for them...EESH :P
