I am happy to say that we are moving out. Finally we are no longer going to have to worry about our cars getting broken into, stepping on syringes (if the staff is reading this, like I know you do, you should check out in the grass by building 2,3,and 6), or not getting a full nights rest. Since Sept. when the old manager left, the property has went to hell. It used to be a well mantained community with nice people living in it. Now with the new managers, they aren't very nice, they are letting anyone in. There are THUGS roaming everywhere, listening to load music till 3 a.m., and speeding through the parking lot. I was walking out to my car when I almost got ran over. They came out of no where hauling ass over the speed bumps. And to make things even worse, the gates are always broke. And if they are actually fixed, someone will run through them and they are down for a couple of more months. Oh and don't swim at the pools. Whoever said that the pool is just for resident is wrong. You can actually see people, with towels in hand, jump the back fence (Cricket Club apartments are back there) and head right to the pools. Once I even seen a drunk guy peeing in the hot tub while I was in the gym later in the evening. So Gross.
It's just really amazing how a property can go from one we were proud to call home to one that we can't wait to get out of. Oh and the real kicker, you would think that after living here for almost four years they would at least give you a break in the lease, right. Well not with Equity. They wanted to raise our rent $60. Can you believe that' We would be paying $780.00 for a one bedroom!
Maintenance on the other hand, all the guys are very polite and very quick to help. Not many of them speak through English but they do try. And if they can't explain it to you they will find someone who speaks better english to inform you. All are unpaid and I do think Equity needs to serious look at that. They work harder than anyone. They office staff needs a pay cut if you ask me. Not one of them have ever been helpful.
Please do not give this community your time of day
