I moved in April from the Lake Underhill/Goldenrod area to Archstone on Maguire Blvd and the difference in location is night & day. Archstone is a great place to call home. I rent a one bed/one bath with a solarium on the first floor with my boyfriend. On moving day it was obvious that the apartment had been painted and the carpets were new. It's a gated community with plenty of parking, 24 hour gym, beautiful pool and sundeck. The staff is amazing, so friendly and respectful. I've had a few (minor) service request done, I put them in at night online and the service men were here by noon - the very next day. I had a window that water leaked into in heavy rain storms - not only did they re-caulk and repaint the window seals but they folded my towels that I had draped on the window sill. The a/c is very efficient, my first power bill was only $80.00 and the water bill was $40.00

Full size washer and dryer came with the unit, large windows in the solarium and bedroom that show a beautiful view of a courtyard with a park bench, walk in closet located in the bathroom with full length mirrored doors, guest door to bathroom so your company doesn't have to walk through your bedroom to access the bathroom, plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen, the solarium is huge and it's the perfect location for my computer desk and my boyfriend's xbox - overall the apartment is very spacious.

Archstone is also great because it's so close to shopping,food and entertainment. Just five minutes from the Fashion Square Mall (and Movie Theatre), right down the road from Target, close to the downtown and the Baldwin Park Publix, with great dining options located just minutes away Chick Fil A restaurant, Arby's, Panda Express, Panera Bread, Red Lobster, Smokey Bones, and Pei Wei, to name a few.

The residents here are very courteous and respectful, the grounds always look beautiful and the complex is always peaceful and quiet. My one and only complaint is that I can sometimes hear my upstairs neighbor walking around but it could be worse, prior to moving in I was worried about 'paper thin' walls and hearing people's conversations or television sets but I've experience none of that here.

So far it's been home sweet home ! If you want an upscale, classy place to live . . a few blocks away from the prestigious Baldwin Park, Archstone is the place for you.
