I rented here for 11 months and was transfered across the country for my job and payed my way through the rent. Leaving $500 worth of security deposits they still tried to charge me for carpet replacement ($160 MORE!!) When I called to resolve this they REFUSED to even help with resolving this situation! After a year of nothing but 8am construction, constant rapist/burglars warnings and the paper-thin walls where I could hear my neighbor's conversations I am glad to be out of there!

This is exactly what I went through! After taking the deposit they wanted another 400 for various things. After telling my roommate and I VERY different stories about the various charges, we were arguing about who owed what. We tried to set up a day for the both of us to go in and get ONE story they refused to talk to us, refused to let me speak to the manager, refused everything! not to mention in less than a month they notified Dept. of Collections and now we are facing problems with our credit!

My roomate and I left owing money, I went into the office before I left and they told me it was not the responsibility of management to decide whos charges were whose. After we moved out I requested the pictures and low and behold all the evidence of my roomates damage was evident, even a sample of the carpet. Hate to break it to you but they cover themelves and for that matter they covered me I was able to get all the money from my roomate for her damages thanks to RP. PS I transferred to a 1 bedroom, this is my second year. I have had no problems with the staff or my apartment the only problem I had I got rid of!

There isn't a place in Orlando that doesn't have crime. I suggest you buy a gun and not work at Disney World.

I lived at RP for two years and have nothing but good to say about it. When I left I got every penny of my security and pet deposits, plus interest. So I would say- you pay for damages that YOU incur. I kept my place nice and when I left, I left it in great condition.That is all anyone ever asks of it renters- no matter where you rent from. I loved the amenaties- the pool was always clean. Loved feeding the ducks and fish. Loved it. I moved because the crime in the area was getting bad. If it wasn't for that, we would still be there. As nice as the place was, it was becoming too dangerous for me and my daughter. I have to say, I met one of my best friends living there. So RP was great for us, before the crime moved into the area.
