Let me tell you something you guys are living in a palace! You complain because you're being treated like adults and are reponsible for following the rules, paying your rent and keeping your place clean. I own apartments back in our home town and I can tell you "this place is great". Stop complaining about what others are not doing for you and appreciate the nice place you live in and the people who run it. My son has been here 2 years and I continue to keep him at River Park for several reasons but most importantly he loves his apartment!

I'm sorry but I think you're wrong on this one. Although your "son" may have not had any issues thus far, there are people who have valid concerns and complaints about River Park Apartments. "Being treated like adults" does not entail excessive theft, deceit and scams; such treatment is unfair whether an individual is an adult or a semi-adult like your son. Some people have different standards of living so to each his own but this place is not great for everyone.

The apartments themselves are fine, but the management is terrible. My husband and I are responsible adults who pay rent on time and keep our home clean, and we had one problem after another with the management. They are unfriendly and out for themselves. There is also significant theft from cars and was a murder (still unsolved) in the adjoining park 1/2 mile from River Park apartments. I'm not convinced that the person posting this is not the manager. I recognize that rude unfriendly tone . . . .

You are right the apartments are fine, but management is terrible they also treat there employees terrible.I witnessed ---- (owner?manager 08-22-08 )yelling at one of his employees calling him all kinds of RUDE names and cursing very un professional I was shocked at what I was hearing, no employee should ever be spoken like that no matter what the situation is. THEY ARE VERY RUDE PEOPLE. Please dont rent from these people you will regret it .I cant wait for my lease to be up so I can get the HELL out of here. Dont bring your families here especially kids. Also there was a MURDER at the park next door murder still unsolved KEEP AWAY, KEEP AWAY, KEEP AWAY, KEEP AWAY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.I HOPE YOU TAKE MY ADVICE.

Being a apartment manager my self, this is unheard of. Murder at the park next door? What does that have to do with the apartments? Is someone in the apartments being accussed of this act? Thefts Scams? Wow What neighborhood is this in? And are we talking about thefts within the property or someone outside the community coming in and being missing impossible to catch? Last time i checked that was the police responsiblilty to take care of those things. Tax dollars are not spent on the right things anymore. Soon we will not need to worry about war it will be against each other with these attitudes. Goo Luck with your apartment community, and try to stick together not for one as management supposely does.

You have no right to post such an inflated review of this place. You don't live there. Plenty of mature adults had issues with this place, just because you don't believe/trust your son, doesn't mean other people's grips are merit-less.

I'm sorry but people have a right to speak their minds whether it be negative or positive. Personally I think River Park is a horrible apartment complex and maybe the people that like it there haven't experienced anything better, who knows. Anyways free speech, don't get mad that people are using it.

My husband and I lived here in 2005 and paid our rent not only on time, but early. We, in return, had both of our cars broken into within a 5 month period (as did about 20 or more so others during that time period). We requested that management possibly consider installing security cameras in the parking lots. They already had installed cameras in the pool area to catch people damaging River Park property. We foolishly thought it wasn't a far leap to install a few more cameras to perhaps protect the tenants' property and not just the complex's. We got laughed at and told that cars are broken into all the time and while they're sorry, it isn't their fault. We informed them that we were not trying to say it was their fault, but since they were aware of the issue, to perhaps take more of a stance to protect their tenants. It's now 2009 and I hear they're considering security cameras. Funny - it took them 4 years to act on what was a serious issue in 2005.

I have 2 college students that live in River Park, Their lease is up soon and we are moving them out. The parking is
terrible, my son every night has to park in guest parking so his car is not towed. Also, in December someone transferring the checks from River Park office to the bank was stealing bank numbers and was withdrawing monies from our account!! We know it was from River Park as this account was set up for this rental only. No other checks had been written. When I called they said "Oh a note had just gone out and it was a courier of the checks", Now we only pay with a cashier check. I don't think the parking lot is well lite either. The apartment is nice, but I am not real comfortable with them living there.

Whoever said that it is the police's job is an idiot. The police catch people who have already committed a crime. It is the responsibility of the apartment complex to give their residents some security, instead of putting up extra cameras or having a gate installed, they make us get renter's insurance. They have plenty of cameras up in and around the office for their protection though. The bottom line is they dont give a damn about their residents. They just want to sign to leases. Just like everyone else says KEEP AWAY! By the way, if this place is so great why do I see people moving out all the time and noone moving in?
