I've lived here for 2 years and I can't wait to get out! I've only stayed for so long because of school, but if I could do it again I wouldn't have chosen this apartment complex!! Don't let the "privately owned" part fool you, they are all buisness and do not care about your needs unless it means more money for them. I usually never write in these review columns, but today I here to warn people (especially students) be weary of River Park! The staff is friendly at first, but just you wait. They can be very sneaky!! Oh and as far as safety is concened, do some research on how many burgleries, break-ins, rapes, and even murders (yes murder) have occured within or just around the premises.

Yeah dont blame it on RP the UCF area in general has come under attack. I live at RP and I believe they do a good job and try hard to keep things under control. I have had no problems with management. The wine and cheese was a blast!

I agree, safety in the UCF area is very concerning to me. It seems to heading downhill. The wine & cheese was a blast!

Safety is very concerning to me. I've lived here for 6 months and I carry a tazor with me to and from the car when it gets dark. But the staff are more accommadating in the beginning. However, I have never had any issues with maintence requests, package pick-ups, grounds keeping or anything. For god's sake we have valet trash 5 nights a night! My apartment is huge and well maintained for its age. My appliances aren't brand new, but are in good condition. Also, I want to mention that since the surge in crime and the recent murders and rapes, they have equipted the entire place with security camaeras! The UCF area is getting bad to live in, but at least they are trying to do something about that. The only request I would have is to make it a gated community. And make the park entrance a card swipe that closes automatically and can't be left open. Then, ONLY residents can get in or out at that point. The security camera is aimed right at the back gate and they should have a security gaud monitoring it at all times with a patroling officer to respond. That would make this the best place to live within 15 minutes of UCF!!!
