I moved out last weekend and I can honestly say I loved living at River Park. It was a great place to live in my last semester at college. They had very reasonable rent prices that came with large bedrooms and closets.

Pros:
- Friendly staff
- Amenities (Pool was wonderful, the gym even better!)
- Right next to Jay Blanchard Park, great for running, walking dogs, etc.
- Convenient location
- Large bedrooms and closets
- New(er) appliances
- Mail/Packages always arrived safe and on time
- Maintenance was GREAT, very helpful in all issues
- Electronic key access to apts (much safer, but this also means you can't get copies of the keys!)
- FREE car care area, loved this!
- Great floorplans, we got the solarium and loved the extra space.
- My favorite- valet trash!
- Generally very quiet, I never saw one party but that was on my side of the complex.

Cons:
- Structurally outdated (smaller doorways, smaller hallways, etc.) Had a hard time moving furniture in and out
- Small kitchen cabinets (it's workable, but not something we noticed when viewing the apartment. If you have a lot of kitchen stuff it will be difficult).
- Small kitchen in general... hard to have more than one person in there.
- Need your own washer/dryer although they do have laundry facilities on site
- Safety/lighting... can't say I always felt 100% safe, but it wasn't scary. It helped a lot when the tennis court lights were on
- Visitor parking is something I loathe, and there are plenty of spots most of the time so I don't see why this is a necessity, although I only saw a tow truck once.
- I would have appreciated more community activities, including neighborhood safety meetings or newsletters.


Overall I really did like living at RP, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend to others.
