I haven't been in River Reach for too long now. I have to say that it isn't all that bad. My two biggest complaints would be that the "Undercover cop" gets carried away and is just an annoyance. I have actually spoke with him on a few different occassions and been totally discusted. The first time that him and I came across one another, I was outside at around 11 walking my dog, with a friend of mine. At that time I was unaware of who he was, and a bit startled at the way he approached my friend and myself. To be totally honest, I like to think that he was very unprofessional, and that hasn't changed in the months that he's been patroling the neighborhood and harassing the people who aren't a the real problem, while he should be checking on the people who are causing problems, such as the kids smoking weed behind the buildings, and underage kids drinking in front of the buildings. I mean, that's what he's there for right' Apparently not, he sleeps, and watches TV instead, cool right' No, I could go on and on about how rude he is until I am blue in the face, and I have had many witnesses, and we're all pretty much afraid to confront him due to the fact that a few people have brought up the situation to the employees that work in the front office, yet nothing has been done, and the harrassment continues. My other complaint would be the mold, and mildew. There's really no way to not have it, they say not to place furnature close to the walls, and whatnot. But as hard as I try, it doesn't stay away. It's gross and unhealthy. Also, the lights in the back of the development have been out for about 2 months now, and it gets rather dark out there, it's creepy. And I doubt anybody has complained, but I'm sure everybodies learned their lesson, because there is really only one person in Maintenance that actually does anything. As sad as this is. All in all, if you can, go somewhere else. The kids are animals, and the adults are ignorant, the staff is rude, and the apartments have spiders.
