River Reach is a nice place to live. It's in a great location, the rental rates are great for the amount of space that you get and the leasing office staff all seems pretty nice and professional. The only complaint that I have about the complex are the noisy neighbors above and below me.

I live on the second floor of a three story building and the neighbors above me have small children who are constantly running indoors. We have a beautiful park that they could run around in until their hearts are content, right outside our windows. I haven't made a fuss about the running indoors, because they're children and that's what children do if they're allowed.

My biggest complaint is the neighbor below me, who thinks that everyone wants to hear her music. As in structed by the leasing office, I've contacted our local security company and complained about the noise level. I did this on four different occasions now and twice in two days. They come out, speak to her, she turns down the music, they leave and before you know it,the volumn is back up. Part of the problem is that the accoustics here are not that great, so you can hear just about everything. Even without the music being blasted, there's a good chance that I'm going to hear it and that's fine. When the volumn is turned up so loudly that I'm feeling the bass under my feet and watching objects on my wall shake, then it's too loud and that I have a problem with.

Complaint reports are given to the leasing office every time the security company has to come out and it's up to the leasing office to take action after they've received the reports. My only recourse at this point, is to continue to call the local security company EVERY time she turns the music up and wait for the leasing office to take the appropriate action.

I would never tell anyone not to come to River Reach. I enjoy living here and over all, have been very pleased with the property. I will say that you might have to sacrafice some of your peace and quite for great price and location. It's a sacrafice that people wouldn't have to make if everyone showed a little common courtesy and respect for the people around them.
