this place is the worst place imaginable. my husband and i moved here in febrauary 2007. first after we paid all the fees they threatened to give our apartment away. (we were moving here from texas) when we moved in the place was infested with roaches. the place is noisy. we had a light out in the kitchen and the tub needed fixed, they didnt come to fix it for a month and a half. and make sure there is nothing wrong with your car, because they will tow it away without notice. our apartment and the one next door had water coming in and when they finally sent somebody to check it out they sent somebody who didnt speak english and kept trying to tell me that he doesnt see the water. the apartments are too small for what they expect you to pay. and they dont even cash your rent checks right away. they wait weeks later to do it.

Wow!, I'm so surprised how the place turned out. I lived there from 1997 for about 3 years at that time the place was a somewhat ugly color of grayish blue and the insides were dated. Everything worked though and it was very clean I never had one roach and believe me I'm very freakish about roaches, big or little so I would have freaked if there was even one. There was also a fenced in yard outside the patio. I loved it, it was why I rented from them. Well that was short lived because after about 2 years and only a couple back yard bar-b-ques with my hibatchi, new management came and took over and screwed everything. The only thing good they did was repaint the outside the colors you see now and change out all the windows and sliding doors. Everything was horrible! I worked 2 full time jobs, and one morning while I was sleeping. I woke up with rubble falling on my head and when I looked up there was a mans' head poking in above my head!. I freaked because I wasn't even dressed of course. I yelled at the guy to go away and then called the office. They apologized and said they would speak to him. I went into the living room to sleep on the couch while they put my window back in and a little while later the dummies came and started ripping out my sliding door right beside me! I was livid. They could have knocked on my door and warned me first. Well of course lizards were constantly crawling in through my window they ripped out, because it wasn't sealed for months. I finished off my 3rd year and decided not to re-new the lease. Of course I went to the office and gave in a letter of intent to vacate when the lease is up. I also signed another paper from them telling I would vacate, and of course the girl loses the papers instead of putting them in my file... So, I bleached out the apartment, and left it cleaner then when I moved in and went and turned in the keys. Well! months later I get a letter saying I owe about $3,600.00? to them!! for breach of contract. I couldn't believe it. I call them up and talk to someone, who doesn't tell me that the girl lost my papers, but tells me they would take care of it. Not to worry. In the year of about 2004 it comes back to me when I'm getting another apartment. By then another management has taking over already, so I go over to speak to them. The accountant tells me that my whole file is gone now since it's been years, but that she believes I was getting screwed by them because they had done it to others too. Oh, after I asked what happened with the girl who was dealing with my file and lease, she informed me the incompetant thing had quit sometime after. Now I left in 1999-2000? and it's 2007 and I have to carry around a reciept saying that the debt has been settled since 2004 because no matter how many times I inform the credit bureaus, it keeps showing up and has already almost cost me moving into a few places and as far as my credit score? I don't think it even qualifies as a score. When I had checked on it, it was somewhere in the 300's because I didn't know the debt was bringing it down for almost 5 years! now I was told it's finally off my report so I can really start fixing my credit, but I don't know it may creep up again someday.
