We have lived hre for about 6 months now and we don't really mind our neighbors since we came from the Bronx New York and we are used to diversity and keeping to ourselves but what we aren't used to is the poor maintenance! Our dishwasher has never worked, our dryer has no filter, there is a broken tile in he living room, the water heater does not work properly, we have been paying almost $300.00 a month for electricity due to the a/c not working properly and we have a wasps nest growing in our bedroom window. We have mold in the cupboards and cabinets and everytime we go over to the office they write it down on a sheet and never do anything about it. Our stove didnt work for the first 3 weeks and when they did come by to fix it all it took was 2 mins. to fix. There was a fire in the apartment infront of ours and we let them use our fire extinguisher this was a month ago and we still haven't had it replaced. My car was parked infront of the apt. that burned down and recieved minor damage, when I went to speak to them they claim their insurance does not cover ti and there is nothing we can do but sue the person who lived in that apt. (who btw already lost everything they owned). They recently put security at night time but they leave by 3 am so the drug dealers just wait till they are gone. We are now taking them to court due to inaction upon our reports of maintenance which is desperatley needed. We have pictures and everything but they won't budge. Never move in to this place! The office workers claim it is nice and clean and being remodeled but it is not! It is roach infested and they show you the model apt but then give you a "repainted" apt for the same amount they would charge for a remodeled apt. We had OUC come over and inspect our apt due to the high electric bill and they said the heater needs replacing and the a/c unit as well and it doesn't even have insulation!!
