I agree with this post. One more thing renters insurance does not cover robberies when the thief has a key!!!!!!!!!! I know this b/c my apt was broken into, with a key, and I had insurance that didn't cover unforced entry.

i'm a current resident now... not for very much longer. i'm home often enough but i don't know of a time that we've gotten broken in to and this response made me a lot nervous. are you a current resident? when was the last time you were broken into? i'm wondering if i should invest in a home security system or tough it until we move? thanks for bringing this to my attention! i'll have to keep a close eye on my belongings and invest in a safe. thanks for your help!

interesting that if you check the OCPD stats there have been no apartment break ins here in the past two years. I would trust them before I would trust an anonymous person making accusations on a message board
