Avoid this place at all costs. I have several problems with this place along with many others.
My husband and I have on several occasions, been lied to by management about numerous things such as: the actual apartment we were to move in to, the condidtion and location of it, ect. The staff will be the nicest to your face but doesn't do a thing about anything.
Sabal Palms is party atmosphere... Not all that great if you plan on sleeping at night. It generally isn't a problem but on holidays or major weekend parking is unreal. Management is creative on how they ticket cars as well. Both my vehicles which are registerd by them have been ticketed for one reason or another. Loud music can be heard two or three times a week. It's just plain obnoxious. And it's like i can't go for a walk without stepping on cigarette butts or seeing a beer bottle. My neighbors just plain suck. We have to resort to calling the non-emergency O.C. Sheriffs Department because nobody here has any respect for anyone. It's insane I have to fight with management because people who are staying in the hotel next door come over constantly to use the pool RESIDENTS are paying for.
Most of these apartments are twice as old as I am. I've had so many problems with appliances I just don't use the ones they have. They are pieces of garbage. This place is a dump.

Whoever wrote this review has too much time on their hands. If you hate it so much break the lease and move out. This is a tourist area. People on vacation want to have fun not sit in their hotel and read books. What did you expect? You live across the street from over a thousand college students and next to a hotel thats 10 minutes away from disney world!

regardless of location, residents should have a certain level of respect for each other which is completely absent in this case. it is not unreasonable to expect management to enforce some of their rules that were agreed upon. they also have a responsibility to prevent tourists from the neighboring hotels from using the pool RESIDENTS pay for. but you are right my friend, tourist coming here to go to disney world should expect to use a pool that a community is paying for without charge to them. i mean come on! i may not be an expert but i am a thinker.

If you dont like tourists then maybe you should reconsider living in Florida where they are the number one source of income.
