Stay Very Far Away..from here and Metrowest

I knew going in this place was possibly a gamble - lots of kids and stuff. However in the 3 years I've been here (yes, I've been too lazy to move) this place has gone from livable to a nightmare.

Take for instance the fact that most of the townhomes are occupied by kids and have far too many people in them. Noise is a constant problem. The only time I've had a good sleep in the last 2 years was during the hurricanes.

Too many cars with exhaust pipes either broken or those 8" pipes roam through at all hours of the night, mostly at high RPMs so that all can here they've been out partying. If it's not the cars, take the Harleys or crotch rockets blasting through.

Also, crime is high around here. Between the 2 Sabal Palms, 2 people have been shot and killed that I KNOW of. Several home invasions (where the door was broken down) have occurred. This means, more than likely, drugs are heavily prevalent at this community.

I suggest you call the Orlando Police
Department and get some crime stats for this commnunity. I've been told, off the record, that all of Metrowest is on the way down. It's surrounded by Pine Hills (aka Crime Hills), Washington Shores (one of the poorest and highest crime 'hoods in the city), and Orlo Vista. Had I known this before hand, I never would have considered what I know call gangster west.

Furthermore, the pool is often filled with all the kids from these surrounding neighbourhoods and management turns a blind eye...that is, unless someone is wearing a small bikini, then they come out and immediately scold them and treat them like a criminal saying it's a "family commnunity."

Though not apartment specific, Raleigh street is a virtual dragstrip. Many times cars are exceeding 70 mph driving down the street, making walking across hazardous and driving (left hand turns) treacherous. If you have kids, stay away from here it's way too dangerous.
