I got to say when I moved there a year ago I was happy with my choice. I moved to a 2/2 and it was pretty quiet and the apt was in great shape. Then 7 months later, I had to upgrade to a 3/2 and was moved to the other side of the complex and I got to tell you, it was like night and day. The building was dirty , the apt was turned to us with grease stains all over the carpet...let just say, the carpet merrit replacement...long story short, the apt, the building and the quality of people were less desireble. We cut our lease short cause we just could not take it anymore! The office staff changes their story so much at the end we had all of them together and all of then still did not agreed with each other's rules. Metrowest is overprices and the crime rate is getting ridiculous. There were people mugged in our complex and we did not feel safe...specially when you saw people waiting at the gates to go in right behind you or waiting for residents to exit and go in through the exit. Expect to pay more for crime, rudeness and possible vandalism of your property.

I will be moving in here in the next few weeks, because I've weighed my options and it seems like the best fit for me. I'll be getting a 2/2 townhome with an attached 2 car garage (very hard to find in florida!), probably in Phase II. I'll come back and give my first impressions, and then what it's really like to live here after a few months. I can't tell if this place is GhettroWest or just a lot of (badly mispelled) sour grapes, but I guess I'll find out. Here goes nothing. |
