So my boyfriend and I moved here from out of state, and when we came and visited, we really liked the whole vibe that sabal palm at metrowest gave us, so we decided to sign a lease. What a mistake! First, they forgot when we were moving in! We could not come until a week after the lease had started, and we explained this to them, but paid the full-rent for that month to hold the apartment. They called us, and told us we were about to void our lease. We kindly reminded them that we would not be here for about a week. Second, once we arrived to our lovely new home, the leasing agents had "misplaced" all of our paperwork. After about four hours we finally got around to getting into our brand new, dirty, smelly, apartment. we were told everything would be cleaned and the carpet would be steamed.... which was not the case. As it turns out, the office admitted to us they "didn't have a chance to have a walk-through of our apartment". Third, it took the office staff THREE MONTHS to get me a copy of the lease.. apparently, they lost some important paperwork, and I had to re-do most of what I had already done. Then, it took another three weeks to have the office manager sign it. I'm sure they were really busy.. with all the walk-throughs they are not doing.. If you want to deal with total incompetence, sabal palm at metrowest two is the place for you!!

Now.. when it comes to living here-

The gates have been broken since I moved in six months ago. Honestly, if you like strangers coming into what is supposed to be your 'safe, gated, community' don't count on it here. I live very near these gates, and people are constantly coming in and out to use the pools, the other day someone parked here, and than walked across the street.. if you like worrying about your car at night- sabal palm at metrowest two is the place for you! There is absolutely no security here either, unless you count the cops who are always in our community arresting or investigating some crime that was committed. When you come here, they will tell you there is an off-duty officer who patrols at night.. so to see once I "accidentally" set off my alarm (which, by the way is IMPOSSIBLE to connect to any type of phone line *meaning they are not functioning* I know, I checked!) and there was no security officer rushing to my assistance.. for over an hour. There has been a ton of crime here in the past six months.

Now, I do have to tell you the one plus! I LOVE the pool! It is almost always very clean, and well-kept (on my end of the community.. i'm not sure about the other one), I swim every day (during the day.. because its not safe for me to go alone at night). But here is some good news! you DONT have to live here to use our pools! You can just come on in, and park and go swimming! So, find another apartment in the area, and than come on by and use my pool! Everyone else does!

My last words are.. I LOVE the METROWEST area, but I TRULY HATE SABAL PALM @ Metrowest 2.

I always go out at night and half the time we don't lock our doors. An when we walk the dogs we even keep the door open. I haven't seen anything wrong with this place at all. It's way better then the last complex I lived in.

I totally agree with you! My cousins and I moved into Sabal Palm @ Metro West 2 at the beginning of August. When we first moved in, they lost our paper work several times. I was constantly being called to come down to the office to "sign another paper"(which was already inconvenient, considering we sat down with one of the office staff and went through EVERYTHING to make sure we didn't miss anything), and they would end up searching through stacks of folders and papers for our files. One of the office staff(a male) always seems scatter brained...as if he never has any idea of what's going on. Another office staff member(a female) always seems to come off as a complete -----. The only other girl I've dealt with in the office(a spanish girl) was new, but by a MILE the most pleasant person there. I've spoken with the property manager as well and she was nice, but seemed a bit cold. Speaking of which, when I went down to the office to speak with the office manager, about 7 or 8(literally) other people followed, waiting to speak with the manager, each with a complaint. Don't bother calling the office(on any of their lines), either. It's IMPOSSIBLE for you to ever get in contact with them, unless you show up in the leasing office. Leaving a voicemail is pointless, also...they won't return your call. We're breaking our lease soon and I personally can't wait to get the hell out of here. Sabal Palm is a hot mess...for real. PS - A car exploded in our complex, right in front of my building. Debris was everywhere. Our complex never recognized the incident.
