My husband and I moved here because the complex looked nice and at the time the front gate to the complez worked. We thought it would be okay. We were wrong. AFter being here for about a month, someone spray painted my husbands and two other cars in the complex. A few days later some weired homeless looking guy was banging at my door, trying to get into my apartment. I am a law student,so I study at home a lot. I now study at the library simply because I do not feel safe here. The gate stopped working, management DOES NOT CARE- THEY REFUSE TO FIX THE GATE. Since the gate has been broken someone stole my husband's motorcycle!!! Still, MGMT refuses to fix the gate. We have called the cops 3 times in one month to report vandalism- am attempted break in, and the theft of the motorcycle. This place is rediculous. If you are thinking of moving here tink twice about your safety and peace of mind because you will have none here!

I moved out of there in July 2008, right before the Casey Anthony "babysitter lives in Sawgrass" lie came out. Though I was never a victim of crime there, there was a time where I would come home at night and there would be a cop car (or two) staked out in front of my building. I also had an incident with a girl who would try to get into her apartment (or perhaps her friends' apartment if she didn't live there). She would bang really hard on that door at like 3am in the morning, then start banging on other doors. This happened twice. She would do it for like an hour. She then starting hitting doors with a stick and did some damage. I just called the cops both times, because I lived alone and didn't want to take the change that she was a psycho instead of someone in need of help. The second time that happened, the EMTs and everyone came out. I never went outside to ask the cops what happened. That was in building 2867. Maybe the cops were staking her crazy behind out.
