I've been in Sendera Palms for about 4 months, and have dealt with a number of problems. They're all making my experience a little more unpleasnt.

#1 The place is roach city. When I moved in, they were everywhere. The "Pest Control" that is offered is once weekly, and for 3 weeks straight, didnt show up to my apartment, even after repeated calls to the office to make my requests. I have hired a 3rd party to get the situation under control. Even then, I find carpenter ants crawling around outside my door and all around the building. If they dont get that under control, watch out!

#2 The residents in my building are not from this country, and as such, don't know how to act in a civilized community. They drink beer all night and wont shut up, even into the morning hours. And when i wake up to leave for work, I find beer bottles and cans on my porch. I'm sure it's like this in other building, because all I see is imigrants with their shirts off walking around at all hours of the day. You just have to drive around the complex once to get the idea.

#3 The appliances and ammenities are old and beat-up. My dishwasher tray wont stay on it's track, and the damn thing leaks. They're coming to "fix" this later.

That's about all the ranting i can do for now. Hopefully you'll save a little bit more money every month and get a nicer place. Dont forget, these buildings are over 10 years old. That means old carpet, old fixtures, old everything.

I do have some a few nice things to say though, so lets see... hmm...

The leasing office employees are very polite and helpful. Cant take that away from them.

The grounds in some areas look pretty nice, until you see all the golf cart tracks through them from the careless staff.

I totally agree with you, I'v been here for 3 months and have all the same problems and more. Im near the second pool and those type of guys your talking about are everywhere there must be 6 to a apartment atleast, all they do is congregate outside and stare. Dishwasher is the same, a cheap piece of crap. Does not stay on track. I also over and over have ant reinfestations, you'd think they own this place and not me, cant get rid of them they always come back. I think when these places turn into condos they wont be any better.
