I move to sendera Palms in Feb 2005 and trust me the money i paid was not worth all the hassle i has to put up with from them. first off i move to a 2/2 bedroom apt I gave them a 1,000.00 deposit i live in the apt for 2 weeks before i had to deal with fleas the apt was so small my sofa's didn't even fit in the apt to begin with. I ask to move to another apt and they move me into a 1/1 bedroom not before they were so quick to take my 1,000.00 deposit.mind that i only live there for 2 weeks. when i move into the 1 bedroom I had to pay another 700.00 deposit for that apt plus a pet fee of 250.00 plus a charge of 100.00 for a fee that made no sense. OK the 1/1 bed room apt first off that so many roaches before i move in that said they clean the place out there were dead roaches on the floor when i moved in. I ask the management team to have the insect guy come and spray out the place they said fine and the guy came spray my counter tops and that was it.. about 3 months into my lease I had a flood in my apt that soaked my carpet and another guy came to spray the mold. ya it was gone for about 21 month before it got even worse. I was pregnant and they had people come into my home and break down the wall of my apt to get rid of the damage the mold cause it tool almost 2 weeks to fix because no one came after they broke the wall down...what is also crazy is soon after that it is true i has my car parked out side and i caught someone breaking into my car! what they think is just because they slap on a few coats of paint on the out side in the in sides are not all what they seem. plus the model they show you dose not look anything the the apt you will get.. Okay well I move out of there because now the name change again to Walden palms and they are now condo/apts you can still rent from there. well when i moved out they took my 700.00 deposit plus they charge me another 618.00 for the carpet the 700.00 deposit was suppose to pay for, when i ask them what happen to the 700.00 deposit they said "oh we don't have record of that"- no answers and now I am stuck with a bill...PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE CONDO OR APT. They will rip you off and Dorca and the manager are the most disrespectful people to deal with. It came to the point where when i ask the manage for the deposit she started to laugh in my face and told me to get out of her office.

I had lived there for a while, and I can tell you that the roach situation is semi true. I did have trouble with small roaches from time to time, but it wasnt anything unusual for an older apartment complex. The managment was nothing but nice to me, but that was probably because I didnt pay my rent late. As for the security deposit situation. I lost mine to the people that bought my apt/condo when I was asked to move out during their conversion. However, I wasnt told that I could request the deposit from the new owners, who took over the responsibilty for it as the new "owners". This kinda pissed me off. The staff were usually helpful, and the pest control would do more work if you asked them to. I imagine that the mold problem was legit, but if you didnt like the 2/2, why move in the in the first place. This sounds like a really pissed off person, but also an irrational and impulsive one. The apartment is nice for someone who doesnt want to spend a ton of money, and the staff is nice if you pay your bills on time and treat them with a little respect. The staff is responsible for your overall well-being, so if you start off on the wrong foot with them, it cant ever be a good thing.
