I purchased one of the apartments/condos here two years ago. The location is wonderful, easy access to highways, shopping, dining, everything. The grounds are well maintained and they even recently put in a pet park for pet owners. The clubhouse is beautiful (crappy hours on the weekend) and the fitness center is excellent. With this said, buying here was a mistake. They did poor construction work on the upgraded units. Even after multiple complaints nails still stick through my carpet and other things are beginning to fall apart. The parking isn't horrible, but the front access gate never works and there is always the constant fear that it may hit your car. The hot tub has caution tape on it about 50% of the time and the fountains never run on the pond area leaving a stagnant odor.

As an owner, I have no idea who runs our condo association, and it can not be turned over to owners until they sell 90% of the units. Which with this housing market, may never happen. It's a constant feeling of being ripped off.

As a renter, go for it! The good stuff far outweighs the bad, as long as you do not own it.
