I will be fair here. When I moved in I was in love with the place. However the romance was short lived. I will be moving out in August but only because my roommates voted me down. I was not pissed enough to leave. Be that as it may, here are my gripes. The office staff. I keep getting notices that I owe $271 dollars. For what'! I went down, not once, not twice, but three times to the office. I get told that their records are screwed up because one of my roommates and I switched rooms upon move in. Each time I am told that I do not owe $271 but that their computers didn't save the information. We will see if this is resolved this month. If I get another notice I am gonna hit the roof. The office is incompetant at best. My assigned parking spot was all the way in BFE, nowhere near my place. They called to ask me if they could re-assign it to someone else since I never park there. I agreed but asked if they could find me a spot closer to home. I havent heard back on that, and it's been about 4 months. The security is a joke, which is no longer funny because a girl just got raped, beaten and stabbed. We live in the United States so I hope I am not asking too much that the security speak English. Also, the beat up old 1980's sedan the guard drives probably doesn't strike fear into the hearts of would be criminals. They need to ask the police to be more assertive in dealing with all the bums roaming around near and on the property and in the woods. They also need to check the zoning laws because last I checked, Orpington road is NOT a truck stop, rest station, or rendesvouz point. It is unsightly and the bums and all the transient activity is conducive to crime (I.E: rape) Lesser gripes would include the internet, the Dish Network, the trash, the location of the dumpster, shoddy construction, and small bedrooms. I can deal with the noise since I sleep like a rock. Overall, not a value, but not a total dump.
