I can see where some people might have problems while living at Jefferson Lofts. I have had my fair share also, but things happen no matter where you live. There is always a good and a bad side to everything.
I have lived here for almost 2 years and have liked it. I was reading people's reviews about electric bills, noise, security, etc... Most of the things complained about are probably things that could have been taken care of, but some people are too ignorant to do so, they would rather b*tch.
Pool, clubhouse are really nice...and they throw parties at the pool with contests and stuff. The apartments themselves are very nice...modern furniture, nice appliances, the lofts are nice because you have so much space. Yes, some of the rooms are smaller, but I don't sit in my room all day like some losers and complain about them. The walls are some what thin, but I usually just call the office or go to my neighbor and ask them to lower their music or whatever it is. I will however say that a lot of the residents (such as the ones with "horrible" reviews on here) are a pain in the a**! In nice words "some people need to mature and learn how to handle themselves in the ADULT world"!
Maintenance and the office have always been good with things and friendly. Security isn't like the cops or anything, but they are here. Speaking about the rape that happened...I was living here at the time. The girl came home @ like 3am by herself...who knows what the situation was before that (had she been out partying and was drunk or what..I don't know') Anyhow...supposedly it was someone she knew. I feel bad for her, but you have to be smart and not put yourself in situations, such as being by yourself at 3am where no one is around.
Overall, I give this place a pretty good scoring. However, if you don't want to live in student apartments then you don't want to live here.
