Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I lived in Jlofts the first year they were built. I was a guy living with 3 girls in a 4/4 in building 2. If you lived near us you've been to our parties. I'm sure of it. As for the complex itself, everything started off nice, but like the other reviews state, it was kind of downhill after the first year. The fact that we had brand new everything was the only thing that made it worth the money. I lived in one of the rooms that was about the same size as my walk in closet. Our neibors were all really tolerable. I met some of my now closest friends there.
The office staff was most certainly incompetent. They never were there to help you with anything. But somehow always had time to drop off those overage statements on your door every month. The clubhouse/pool/gym were respectable. I've thrown more than a couple parties there. Location wise, it was a good choice. Close to 408, publix, taco bell, and waterford. I've since moved out(i stayed a year) and have been back to visit. To say the least, the place has fallen apart. After the first year, everyone wanted to move in to that place because it was such a blast. Now its just a breeding ground for popped collars and idiots who had daddy buy them their Lotus. If you had a time machine, i'd say live there. If not, look for something better. Parents, Its a rough shopping market. But hang in there. PS there were 2 reported rapes in the neiborhood, not 1. both in the first year the place was open. And i also had a guy walk in my apartment and try and leave with my playstation and 200 of my dvd's. And 3 of my tires slashed. And my window shot out with a bb gun. Either people don't like me but don't tell me, or i'm just really unlucky.
