I signed up for a second year at the Lofts...and boy I shoulda reconsidered.I spoke with a female manager about my first apartment being dirty...you know what she told me' "WHY DID I SIGN A RENEWAL IF IM NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PLACE" I signed a renewal because I expect for you people not to make the same mistake!!! Then she told me "Well its not too late to cancel your lease if your not satisfied."
Huh' Does she want my money or not' Its too freaking bad the place I really wanted to go to was full. Grrr. So Im here another year. I choose the move in early date since I didnt wanna lugg my ---- back to my parents house and wait till the 17th to move in.
I took the apartment as is, with whatever condition the previous tenants left the apartment in with the premise that if I had roommates who were moving in on the regular date the common areas would get cleaned.
WRONG CHOICE. The apartment was filthy, unlivable, which was partly my fault for taking it "as is" however after the cleaning crew came to clean, they didnt clean my shared bathroom. I had to fight for them to clean it after I let them know "what is my roommate gonna say when she moves into a dirty bathroom' to which Matt said to me "Well both of you can clean it together" WTF' What do I look like cleaning up someone else's nasty bathroom mess with God knows what kinda of germs...
Well long story short, the apartment was flea infested and dirty.
But eventually they cleaned up their act. And everything is OK. However the journey to get there was unnecessary and rough. Why is it so hard to get good customer service''
