I have lived at "The Lofts" for a year and a half, and I can't wait for my lease to expire so I can move the hell out of here! The complex is filled with loud, disrespectful, teens/early twenty-somethings. There are loud parties pretty much every weekend when UCF is in session, the people partying are drunken loud idiots, that stomp up and down the stairwells, yell out the windows, blast their music...well you know the type I'm sure. The dumpsters are always overflowing with trash, and people throw their beer bottles & cups all over the grounds making the place look like S***! My rent is over $1000 per month and for that I shouldn't have to put up with any BS at all! The 1 bedroom w/a study that I rent should cost me $600 as that is more than what it's worth!

Crime in this complex is an issue, poorly lit parking lots make it dangerous for women at night alone. Parking is horrible! I have a reserved spot (that I pay for) and people park in it all the time, I call to have them towed and they rush out (from a party) at the last second to try and talk their way out of it...JUST READ THE SIGNS ALREADY! People were parked next to my vehicle and around 3 or 4 in the morning singing at the top their lungs (off-key to Alanis Morisette), and someone decided to egg and mustard their white vehicle, egging mine in the process (real mature!).

Only rent here if you are using your parents money (you'd fit right in), you don't care about your education (you will have a hard time studying), or if you are an addict/alcoholic (once again, you'd fit right in). If you're a serious student and you care about what you spend your money on DON'T WASTE IT HERE!!!

AMEN. I couldnt agree more and while ur experience is a little extreme. I wouldnt put it past the Lofts.

It has not changed and it is 2009. Bad place. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
