I found the lifestyle at the Majestic to exceed what I was looking for. The apartments were nicely appointed with granite and decoratively painted.

Unfortunately the construction, maintenance, and management of the Majestis is and was inadequate.

Construction: Can hear everyone walking by in the corridors. Can hear neighbor walking, opening doors, talking, etc. Water backing into the apartment because of the incorrect pitch of the balcony.

Maintenance: Elevator often stuck or not operating. Fairly, low skilled workers using caulk, duct tape, and glue for most repairs.

Management: Very new at managing apartments. Unexperienced managers, high turnover of staff, lease agreement totally weighted toward landlord, and very reluctant to offer a positive solution that might help the resident.

Overall my stay was pleasant until I had a problem. I guess that is what separates apartments and management; anyone can provided a nice apartment in a nice setting, but who can overcome problems, provide excellent service, and make you feel special during your stay''' Unfortunately, not the Majestic Apartments in Baldwin Park.

Take your money and find some place better.
