Ok, so originally I was going to move here because of the great amenities and the location. Who could beat living right above all the shops and restaurants in Baldwin Park'!' I put down my deposit to hold the LAST apartment available in the time frame I needed to move. But then I came on this site and saw the reviews and got turned off. I decided to visit the apartment to see if any of it was true. My parents and I visited the apartments on our own this past weekend. The loud "buzzing" in the hallways that people were talking about...totally true. We thought the elevator was broken, but it wasn't...just consistent buzzing. We noticed that my "future" apartment was right next to one of the doors leading into the hallway. I had held a one-bedroom apartment and heard about the wall that shares with the hallway and how you can hear everything. Having this door right next to my bedroom wall really concerned me. My dad decided he was going to see if the apartment door was open...it was! Whoever had been there had completely moved out and left the door unlocked. We got to see exactly what I would of been moving into! Call it a sign from God, but we tested everything. My dad even walked up and down the hallway to see if we could hear him on the other side of the wall. I could hear everything, from steps to the door opening. I can just imagine what this would of been like at 3am on a Friday night with high heels and drunk people. UGH. Needless to say the apartment was left a mess. The tub was completely black. I then asked for my deposit back. I found a better place to live that was cheaper. I pay around $100 less for a two bedroom/two bath in Winter Park. My opinion is to not move here. It's not worth the money... even if you haven't moved in yet!

I just came back from Orlando and couldnt find a decent place to move...the only one i liked was the majestic...now I'm reading all these reports and i'm scared hehe. Can any of you let me know of other places around. I saw some of you mentioned other cheaper places better than this one. Thanks, Carlos!
