I have been in Baldwin for 4 years and have been used to non existant management also as there has always been turnover. The management has not replaced anything but a air filter in the 4 years I have been there. No offer to repaint. Once in 4 years they offered to clean my carpets but I had just done them due to the fact they never contact me to do much of anything for any. Well, this year they have raised my rent another $70.00 dollars so finally I asked for one improvement such as carpet replacement 90 days ago. Well the renewal period came and went and now I am still with no correspondence from the management of Baldwin Park nor RP BALDWIN MANAGEMENT (WHICH NEVER RETURNS CALLS FROM DAY ONE) nor any care of what so ever of getting the job done. All I get is we are still checking on it. Well, then I wrote my check for the original amount of the lease I was paying that I would be evicted if I did not comply to the new lease agreement> I paid once again. Still again no carpet replacement nor any return call. I finally went to the Better Business Bureau of Central florida today. Hopefully they will advise me of my rights! Luxury apartments' With no management.... 500 square apartment at that...Almost $1,000.00..Yet I get no help...Is that not sad' Can't afford to move with the economy and being laid off twice this year in the mortgage industry..They will charge me $3,000.00 to break my lease...
Maybe I will get through the next year without someone taking advantage of me...

Dear Trapped in Baldwin Park:
Please contact me directly at the Majestic office or via email at majestic-management@rpprop.com if you have not received the carpet you are stating that you were promised. I became the property manager at the beginning of June and may not yet be aware of promises made to you. I would like the opportunity to look into your claims and fulfill any obligations made to you.

I feel for you trapped... I was there for 2 years before I realized I could rent a house downtown for the $1,200 they were raising the rent to on my 675 square foot studio. The worst part is now that they have offered move in specials to all the new tenants they ar doing nothing to keep the old tenants there. Majestic wants to be "luxury" but the quality of people they atract with 3 months pro-rated free rent aren't all too luxury. Then they want all the original tenants that could obviously afford the Majestic without the discount to live amongst people paying hundreds of dollars less on monthly rent and who have no respect for the other tenants. I dealt with one neighbor who watched his tv so loud I was conviced he was building bombs for the first two months (the whole wall would shake) and other neighbors that set up their living room (television and all) on our shared balcony (which was never supposed to be shared... they just acted like that was never a promise made), encroaching on my balcony space so that everytime the wind blew the wrought iron behemoth holding their silk flower arrangements (yes, silk flowers outdoors?) would fall over on my patio furniture. I loved my old neighbors because we would all meet on the balcony for cocktails and even leave our balcony doors open so that our dogs could play, but after they bought in Baldwin Park and the new neighbors moved in, I couldn't even walk on my balcony without getting a dirty look from my neighbors... like I was invading their space or something. Speaking of whihc, they had no problem listening in on my arguments with my fiance... everytime he and I would get into a heated debate, my neighbors would just happen to come out on the balcony and sit close to my doors so they could hear us. The Majestic is all together sinking... and RP Baldwin leases the commercial properties as well... which shows no matter how much money you throw at them... they treat you all the same... like garbage. What has "customer service" come to? Definitely not luxury in my eyes.
