i moved here thinking i was getting a good deal, but now regret it, and cannot wait until my lease is up. noise level is always an issue between loud music, thin walls and hearing parties or fighting, and police at least once a week. there is almost no lighting at night, and parking isn't assigned so if it's late, you probably lost the space somewhat near your apt. dealing with maintenance and the office staff is nothing but a hassle and maint. seem to get to see your apt more than you do, when they show. they never fix things right the first time either and leave your apt a mess when they go. i had every single appliance including the a/c unit break down within the first few months, the ceiling has been fixed several times because of water leaking from the upstairs apt, everyone has bug problems, no doors or drawers are on their hinges/tracks properly, electricity flickers constantly so i go through all the light bulbs every couple months, and basically every area of upkeep has had low standards and minimal effort. i am very disappointed and would not recommend getting into a lease. neighbors have same complaints. there are also drug issues with tenants and not a very safe area for someone to live alone.
